WOO HOO

Well I have finally been given my conditional offer for HNC in interactive Media, Yes I am very happy about this and I cant wait to start, I feel for me that I'm on the right path at last. I don't think the course will be a walk in the park but overall it will be a rewarding course. Plus no more networking woop woop.

Last Friday I went to see the film “Thor”, I quite enjoyed this film as it got into the story very quickly. There was plenty of action in the film but I would like to have seen more. I have attached a video clip for you all to enjoy :-)

coming to an end

My college course now only has 4 weeks left to go. will be sad to finish up and not be in some of the other's class any more as we all head in different direction. now I am just waiting to hear if I have a place on the Interactive media course.

Brain fry

Ever question if you are heading in the right direction? I do every day and it's so very annoying. Am I on the correct course, Have I picked the right HNC for next year, Am I good enough? All this goes round in my head constantly. It’s very tiring and now we have to prepare for the ‘Interactive media’ course interview as though we are applying for a 60k a year job. PAH! Maybe I should sack it all and just be a cleaner. Yes/no?......

Hey all my followers how are we today?

It's a typical wet, cold and miserable day in Edinburgh and I wish I had stayed in my bed. On a good note I might have the day of my work and can go straight home after college. Woop Woop.

Need to decide on the 3 out of 7 choices for outcome 3. They are as followed

Task 1

Send an e-mail with an attachment to several friends using the bcc option. Screen shot of e-mail just before it is sent.

Task 2

Use an instant messaging system to have discussion with others about the course you are following. You can use text, audio or video but you cannot use two text-based tasks.

Task 3

Using a chat facility respond to a post and show the thread with all posts including your own. This will also be a text-based task.

Task 4

Using a newsgroup or forum find a group that interests you and write a short report detailing what the group is called, what the group is about, what the topic you found was about and what you thought of the group and the topic you followed. Show as evidence the URL of the group and a screenshot of the topic you wrote about. Again this is likely

to be text-based.

Task 5

Using either a blog that has been set for you to add comments and posts to or one that you have set up yourself take a printout or screen shot of the blog showing your contribution. This could be used to show pictures and/or audio files on the blog giving you a media type as an alternative to text.

Task 6

Show evidence of a wiki before you have edited it and after editing. Wikis can contain pictures but this is more likely to be a text-based task.

Task 7

This task can be used to access on-line communities such as social networks, social bookmarking, social shopping or virtual worlds. Sites such as photo sharing can be used, as can social networking sites. You must explain exactly what the site is for and how you can access it (free, subscription etc), do you need to register with an e-mail address and so on.

Evidence will be the URL and a relevant page of the site. This task is likely to have graphic elements and even include animations or video clips.

Think I might go for task 2 and 4. I'm sure that using this blog will count as task 5!
